Funeral service for Mr. Douglas Howard Gulledge, 45, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 27, 2009 at Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe with Brother Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow at the Crowville Masonic Cemetery, in Crowville, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Gulledge was born March 2, 1964 in Monroe, LA and passed away November 24, 2009 in West Monroe. He loved to fish and garden. Douglas was preceded in death by his grandparents; Howard and Tama Newsom, Clark C. and Lillie Gulledge; uncle, Warren Newsom.
Survivors include; parents, Clark C. and Shirley Gulledge; children, Heath Gulledge and Magan Gulledge; sister, Janet Leake and husband Kenny; aunts, Brenda Kraft, Eve Craft and Bobbye Arnold; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Heath Gulledge, Thorne Howard, Ethan Howard, Randall Taylor, Dennis Jimes, and John McClenden.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Friday November 27, 2009 at Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
