Funeral services for Douglas C. Singley, 88, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Downey officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA.Mr. Singley died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Northeast Louisiana War Vets. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He attended Felsenthal Baptist Church. He was owner and operator of Jack’s Lockshop for over 30 years. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoor life.Mr. Singley was preceded in death by his parents, James Slater Singley and Nettie Hearn Singley; and one brother Jack Singley.Survivors include his wife, of 67 years, Gracie Singley; and one son Jim Singley, wife Pegeen; five grandchildren, Taylor Singley, Jonathan Singley, Jessica Singley, Haley Downs, and Madelyn Rosequist; and seven great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Ted Justice, Mike Jerry, Gary Roberts, Buddy Lowery, Jonathan Singley, Taylor Singley, and Kenneth Page.Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel.Online Registry/Condolences: www.mulhearnfuneralhome.comMulhearn Funeral HomeSterlington RoadMonroe, LA
