Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Dorothy Love Biggs, 80, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 28, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Johnny Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday.
Dorothy was born in Greenbrier, Arkansas and passed away January 25, 2021, at her daughters’ residence in Olive Branch, MS.
Dorothy was a member of the North Hills Church, formerly Agape Bible Church.
In her younger days, she enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing on Lake Conway with her husband and family. After the children were grown, she enjoyed collecting antiques and for a few years had a shop on Antique Alley in West Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Marvin L. Biggs.
Those left to cherish her memory: Son, Billy Biggs and his wife, Mary of Lexington Park, MD; her Daughters, Diana Russell and husband, Jay of West Monroe, LA, and Leslie Howat and Rodney of Olive Branch, MS; Grandchildren, Billy Biggs, Jr. (Maya), Suzie Ocasio (Josh), Angela Pace, Michael Russell, Megan Russell (Samantha), Victoria Knepper, Conrad Knepper (Heather) and Isabella Howat; Sister-in-law, Nina Louise Reinhold; and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Russell, Conrad Knepper, Rodney Howat, Lance Primm, Dakota Rodermund, and Chad Ellerbe.
