Dorothy Campbell McCormick

Memorial Services for Mrs. Dorothy Campbell McCormick, 72, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Life Church, West Monroe, LA with Pastor Joel Dyke officiating. Mrs. Dorothy was born May 23, 1943 and passed away February 17, 2016. She was very devoted to her family, friends and her faith. Mrs. Dorothy always said what she thought and knew how to make you laugh or get mad all at the same time. She loved life and lived it in the way she served others. Mrs. Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ethel and Lee Campbell; three brothers, Jerry, Dwight and Mark; and two sisters, Barbara and Faye.Survivors include her husband, John “Bookie” McCormick; sons, Kalvin and wife Karen, and Kenneth; daughter, Kelly and husband Mark; grandsons, Michael, Tyler and Jonathan; sister, Betty Kelley; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the building fund at Life Church, 118 South Martin Lane, West Monroe, LA 71291 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
