Services for Doris Eubanks Maxwell, 81 of Rayville will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Mulhearn Chapel with Rev. Troy J. Dennard and Rev. Clyde Piercy officiating. Mrs. Doris was born April 11, 1931 and passed from this life on October 22, 2012. Interment will follow in the McKnight Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
She waitressed at Bakers Café in Rayville and later was a nurse at Rayville Guest House Nursing Home. She was always trying to take care of others
She is preceded in death by her parents-C. H. Hutto and Vyrtis Lee Hutto; her husbands-Floyd Eubanks and Alfred Maxwell, a daughter, Darlene Fryer and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughter-Charlotte E. Gwin and husband Gillis of Rayville; seven grandchildren, Rhonda Grissom and husband Dooney, Janis Hamm and husband Greg, Felecia Collins, Floyd McCormick and wife Bonnie, Leslie Burgess and husband Greg, Kevin McCormick and Debbie Gwin; great grandchildren, D. J. Grissom, Katie Jo Hamm, Cabel Hamm, Emily Hamm, Kayla Guimbellot, Josh Keeton, Lizzy McCormick, Mikey McCormick, Shane Burgess, Sydney Burgess, and Skyler Burgess, a brother, Red Hutto, and two sisters-Pat Turberville and Deloris Townsend.
Pallbearers will be Floyd McCormick, Randy Lively, Dooney Grissom, Ronald Guimbellot, Greg Hamm, and Greg Burgess.
Visitation will be 5-9:00PM Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Mulhearn Funeral Home.
