Billy Taylor officiating. Private Family Interment Services will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Simsboro, LA.Nanny was born on October 15, 1929 and passed away at her residence on June 9, 2015. She was a charter and founding member of Brownville Baptist Church and also a member of Immanuel Worship and Fellowship Church both in West Monroe, LA. She had a passion for visiting people in the nursing homes, hospitals and also funeral homes. Her love was to travel and attend Bluegrass Festivals. Mrs. Doolittle is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Overton Doolittle; sister, Mary Ann Haley and by her brother, Jimmy Dennis.Survivors include her children, Leea Oswald and husband Joe, Patricia “Trish” Ryals and husband Danny, Renee Lewis and husband Devon, Jennie Grassi and husband Marty, Kim Haley, and Randy Haley; 20 grandchildren, Laine Mulhearn and husband Butch, Monica Frost and husband Bubba, Amy Ryals, Bo Ryals and wife Holly, Shelly Haarala and husband Marc, Trey Lewis and wife Mia, Jamie Grassi, Joey Grassi and wife Amy, Jessi Owens and husband Corey, Joani Mulhearn and husband Michael, Jodi Haley, and Peyton Haley; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
