Funeral services for Mr. Donald Pierce Rice of Holden, LA will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville with Rev. Ken Trebig officiating. Interment will follow at Epps Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

Due to recent covid-19 regulations, the funeral home is allowing a limited number of people to attend.

Mr. Rice was born January 12, 1940 and passed from this life on May 21, 2020, in Holden, LA at the age of 80.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Sims Lavelle Rice; five sisters, Eloise Mayo, Essie White, Loyce Eubanks, Vetoil McGraw and Laverne Cassels.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary Rice; one son, Stephen Paul Rice; four brothers, Eugene Rice, Wachel Rice and wife, Cookie, Nathan Rice and wife, Betty and Herman Rice and wife, Sissy; two sisters, Jesse Massey and Phillip Beach, and Wanda Cox and husband, Larry; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Moore, Dustin Hubanks, Dusty Hubanks, N.J. Rice, Allen Patrick and Randy Miller.
