Funeral services for Donald Moore, 59, of Clarks, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Don Banks officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery
Mr. Moore passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War, retired as Deputy Sheriff with Ouachita Parish K-9 Unit, Caldwell Parish K-9 officer, and also worked with Olin Kraft.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Connie Moore and Carolyn Ezell; and father, R. L. Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Leha P. Moore; two sons, Mike Moore and wife Betty of Monroe, LA, and Mark Moore of Florida; mother, Ruby Huffty of Sterlington, LA; brothers, Danny Moore of Sterlington, LA, and Ronnie Moore of Georgia; sister, Denise Desadier and husband Steve of Bossier City, LA; aunt, Vivian Wilson; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be Todd King, David Crane, Trampus Biddleman, Mike Evanich, Brian Ezell, and Michael Hodges.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
