Interment will be in Howell Memorial Cemetery in West Plains, MO. Mrs. Mayfield was born July 16, 1938 in Mansfield, MO and passed away January 14, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ and loved taking care of her family. Survivors include her sons, Dr. Samuel Mayfield and wife Jeannie, Dr. Charles Mayfield and wife Melissa, and Dr. Greg Mayfield and wife Julie; grandchildren, Olivia Herold, Lisa Taylor, Kylie McIntosh, Taylor Mayfield, Justin Mayfield and Kyle Mayfield; 9 great grandchildren;3 brothers, George Marcum, Alvin Marcum and Frank Marcum; 1 sister, Rosie Heinzmann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
