Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Mrs. Dolores “Dee” Roussel Wisdom, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Private Family Graveside Services will follow in the St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Wisdom was born on January 17, 1930 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on January 3, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. She was the Co-Owner and Bookkeeper of Wisdom’s Tire Service. Mrs. Wisdom was also Co-Owner of Clarence’s Old Stuff Antiques. Dee was a Hospice Volunteer, was a member of the Ouachita Parish Woman’s Republican Club, and BSF Treasurer for 13 years at First United Methodist Church of Monroe, LA. She also served as a Council and School Board Member for St. Paschal Catholic Church. Mrs. Wisdom also served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clarence Wisdom; her parents, Lucien C. and Laura Puga Roussel; son, Steve Wisdom; and brother, Stanley Roussel.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Wisdom McCulloch-Stapp and son-in-law, Roy Stapp of West Monroe, LA; brother, Leoncio “Chris” Roussel of Slidell, LA; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Paschal Catholic Church.

Mrs. Wisdom was known for her unconditional love of The Lord, family and friends, along with her kindness and generosity of spirit, class, dignity, sense of humor and one line zingers.
