Dixie Moore Harris departed this life in peace on September 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Cloyd Taylor Harris; her father, Oscar Grady Moore; her mother, Marie Elizabeth Moore; her brothers, L. D. Moore and Jim Moore and her son-in-law, Arden O. French, Jr.Dixie is survived by her beloved daughter, Cathi June and husband, C. Joseph Roberts, III; two grandchildren, Ginger F. Shemwell, Robert L. French and wife, Lori B. French, and grandson-in-law, David C. Shemwell; three great-grandchildren, Virginia Blair Shemwell, Harris Edward French and Charlie Elizabeth French; two nephews, Greg Moore and Jeff Moore; and one niece, Lura Dell Moore Helms.The family will lay Dixie to rest in Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun on Tuesday, September 30th.
