Dianne Griggs Reeves

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dianne Griggs Reeves, 72, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Friday, August 26, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Swampers, LA.

Dianne was born September 22, 1949 and passed away on August 21, 2022. She was co-owner and operator of Reeves Produce Stand for 10+ years with Mr. Billy. She loved having company over, a good laugh, watching boxing, cooking, but more importantly spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, whom she said were her pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.W. Griggs and Eunice Knaps Griggs; brother, Jerry Griggs; great-granddaughter, Alaina Monfette; husband Billy Reeves, great-grandson, Gavin Lowery; and daughter, Sarah Reeves Hodge.

Survivors include her four children, Rhonda Neumann, Matt Reeves and wife Susanne, Harrel Reeves and wife Judy, Dewayne Reeves and wife Nikki; son-in-law, Gaines Hodge; nine grandchildren, Patrick Reeves-Tucker, Felicia Dumas, Lindsey McBride, Bryan Reeves, John David McBride, Annabelle Hodge, Madison Reeves, Rylee Reeves, and Allison Reeves; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, JoJo and Jaxson; sister, Gayle Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Matt Reeves, Harrel Reeves, Dewayne Reeves, John David McBride, Patrick Reeves-Tucker, and Michael Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gaines Hodge, Kenneth Reeves, Donnie Reeves, and Joe Dumas.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
