Mrs. Coleman went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 28, 2014, surrounded by her husband, loving children, and family. She was born September 6, 1941, to Willie Ruel & Yvonne Ferguson. Diane was a lifetime resident of Monroe, LA serving 35 years in the Ouachita Parish School System as a favorite 1st grade teacher. Her compassion for her students was heartfelt and she continued to teach her grandchildren even after her retirement.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
