Devone A. PooleFuneral Services for Mrs. Devone A. Poole, 92, of Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 9, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.Mrs. Poole was born September 16, 1922 in Leola, AR and passed away on March 6, 2015 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge #66, and Woodman of the World Camp 10. Devone devoted her life to the Lord and was a source of strength and love to all those who knew her, both family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Poole; and numerous siblings. Survivors include her son, Oran Foster Poole and wife Jacque; beloved daughter, Anita Poole Holloway; sister, Inez Gordon; four grandchildren, Donna Lynne Poole, Debra Poole, Michael Poole, and Nancy Poole; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
