Denyse Donovan Moore

Funeral Mass for Mrs. Denyse Donovan Moore, 85, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 16, 2018, at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Moore was born November 14, 1932, in Anderson, IN and passed away November 13, 2018. She was a member of St. Paschal’s Catholic Church and served as State President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Mrs. Moore was employed by Delco Remy, Dolphin Construction and later with McCooks Office Furniture. She loved playing Bingo, fishing, and was the biggest fan of the University of Notre Dame.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Moore; parents, George and Hannah Donovan; sisters, Patricia Ann Harris and Martha Ann Lippman; and brother, George T. “Spike” Donovan.

Survivors include her children, Sara Woodruff, Ann Sadler (Mike), Robert J. Moore (Eileen), Margaret Moore, Jeanne Mitchell (Carl), and Thomas J. Moore; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Maggio, Joshua Sadler, John Forsell, Bobby Moore, Jake Moore, and Ben Finklea.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Mitchell, Mike Sadler, and Greg Bauer.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 15, 2018, with a vigil wake service at 6:30 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
