Delfina Penny Bazor

Funeral Services for Delfina “Penny” Bazor, 63, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paschal’s Catholic Cemetery, West Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Penny passed away on April 24, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. She worked for Brown and Root as one of the very first female pipefitter and welder. She enjoyed being a stay at home mother and eventually went back to school and earned her LPN degree. Penny was a Sunday School teacher at St. Paschal’s Catholic Church for many years where she taught first communion. She loved her dogs Sunny and Benji, but most of all, loved and adored her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albino and Felicidad Contreras; siblings, Emily Cabribio, Maria Delarosa Aguayo, Juan Contreras.

Survivors include her children, Dawn Davis and husband Jarred, Amy Berry and husband Ernie, Michael Lynn Bazor and Patrick Barrett; grandchildren, Kurstin Dawn Davis, Haley Elizabeth Davis, Christiana Dianthe Briceno and husband Andres, James Ernest Berry, II, Alexander Thomas Scott Berry; sisters, Felicidad Torres, Ramona Longoria; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Jarred Davis, Ernie Berry, Andres Baiceno, Todd Garner, Patrick Barrett and James Drew Womack.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Friday, April 28, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
