Debra Rene Lindley, 72, of Monroe, LA died after a brief illness at St. Francis Medical Center.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
Debra came to Monroe in 1995 as the Assistant Director for the Louisiana Folklife Festival and served 10 years. She was the Events Coordinator and House Manager for the School of Visual and Performing Arts at The University of Louisiana Monroe.
Deb was an energetic, creative lady who cherished working with all students, faculty and staff at ULM. Her passion for the arts and helping others was evident to anyone who entered the VAPA facilities. She approached each day believing “as long as everyone walks away from an event happy, then I’ve done my job.”
