Homecoming Celebrations for Deborah Kay Holtzclaw Massey, 56, of North Richland Hills, TX, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 29, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gaye VanZandt officiating.
Deborah was born May 16, 1956, in Monroe, LA and passed away on December 26, 2012, at the residence of her parents in West Monroe, after a long courageous fight with cancer.
Deborah is survived by her husband and ministry partner, Tommy Joe Massey; parents, Bob and Carolyn Holtzclaw, all of West Monroe, LA; brother, Robert Holtzclaw, Jr. and his wife, Lucia and sons, Nathanael and Samuel, of Sterlington, LA; adopted daughter, Kristen Caplinger and husband, John; and children, Hannah and son, Jeremiah, Jonah, Jeriah and Priscillah, of Sylva, NC; special friends, Charles and Paula Slagle of Euless, TX, Nancy Root Shirley of Calhoun, LA, and Melissa Choens of Hurst, TX; and a host of other friends, ministry clients and her dog “Angel”.
Deborah was an Ordained Minister answering God’s call and Co-Founder of Journey 2 Wholeness, teaching and e-mail school with calling to Minister deliverance and healing. After the completion of her call she says “Today I am Free, Praising God in His Kingdom, I am Whole and Rejoicing Him, My King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”
Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to Christian Center of Ft. Worth or to a charity of your choice.
