Dawna Boothe Barkley, 57Funeral services for Dawna Boothe Barkley, 57, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe, with Rev. Danny Chance officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Barkley passed on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Barkley was preceded in death by her parents, Kence and Nedra Boothe; sister, Sandra Boothe; and brother, Jeffrey BootheSurvivors include her daughter, Kendra M. Knuckey and husband Paul; nephews, Byron Boothe and wife Courtney, Koby Boothe, and Nickolas Boothe; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Mrs. Barkley was a graduate of Enterprise High School in 1976. She attended Northeast Louisiana University and received a certificate in medical billing. Dawn spent over 35 years working at St. Francis Medical Center, Northeast La. Kidney Specialist, and Fresenius Medical Care. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe. The family wishes to extend their thanks to special aunt, Bonnie Wright, Houston, TX, for the love and support she provided throughout the years; Carolyn and Ronnie Cupit for their lifelong friendship and support for the entire Boothe family.
