David Vernon Hicks

Funeral services celebrating the life of David Vernon Hicks, 80, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday January 13, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Harold Willmore officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery.
David died January 09, 2021 following problems with heart surgery.

Mr. Hicks followed his grandchildren throughout their many sporting activities.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, D. V. and Tavia Hicks and a brother, Don Hicks
Survivors: his wife of 60 years, Beverly White Hicks; brothers, Jerry Hicks (Anna Gayle) and Gerry Hicks (Terri); two sons, Mike Hicks and Mark Hicks (Jackie); 7 Grandchildren, Jason (Mary), Jake (Kristian) Blade, Paige, Mallory, Piper and Abigail (Bebe); Great Grandchildren, Hutch and Tomi; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Sons, Mike and Mark, Grandsons, Jason, Jake and Blade and Joey Trichell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Hicks and Joe Trichell.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN
