"Tush" David Lee Spence

Graveside service for Mr. David Lee Spence, 75, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Britt Dupree officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe.

Mr. Spence was born on April 12, 1948, in Monroe, LA, and passed away on December 31, 2023, in Monroe. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He liked to hunt, fish, hanging out at the hunting camp, and he loved spending time with his family and close friends.

Mr. Spence was preceded in death by his parents, Huel and Cecil Spence; and brothers, Keith Spence, Dale Spence, and Jeff Spence and his wife, Betty.

Survivors include his siblings, Carrie Windle, Phyllis Temple and her husband, B. J., John Michael “B.B.” Spence and wife Kaye, and Susan Savage and husband Stacey; sister in laws, Cheryl Spence and Sandy Spence; longtime friend, Karyn Branch; special caregiver, Dee Reynolds, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Special thanks to all his close friends who visited him at the veterans home.

Pallbearers will be, Stacy Savage, Mike Hughes, Colby Spence, Cameron Spence, Austin Spence, and Bert Windle.
