David Patrick Sandlin

A Graveside Service will be held for Mr. David Patrick Sandlin, 76, of West Monroe, LA, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Paschal's Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Arkansas Road, West Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Sandlin passed away on January 1, 2024.

He was a resident at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home. David was a member of the US Army and served in the Vietnam War.  David was an avid book reader, especially enjoying Fantasy and Science Fiction novels. This was an interest he shared with his daughter Leah. With his boys, he shared building model airplanes, hobby trains, and railroads.  David was the youngest of six children. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy K. and Ava Blanche Hubbard Sandlin; his brothers, Bob, Joe, and Michael; as well as his sisters, Margaret and Mary. 

David is survived by his sons, Daniel Joseph Sandlin and Michael Edward Sandlin; his daughter, Leah Anne Sandlin; and his youngest son, Eric Williams; his sister- in- law, Haydee Sandlin; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
