Daniel "Danny" Guiroy Perez Jr.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Daniel “Danny” G. Perez, Jr., 56, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Officiating will be Father John Paul Crispin. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Danny was born October 25, 1966, in the City of Isabela, Philippines, and passed away on July 16, 2023 in West Monroe, Louisiana.

He was a fun-loving person, always the life of the party. You’d never see him without hearing a joke or a story. He loved to sing and would bring out the karaoke machine at any chance he got. He was a generous man and would take the shirt off his back for anyone, anywhere. 

Danny was a physical therapist for over 33 years, and a member of the Philippine American Association of Northeast Louisiana (PAANEL) where he served as a leading member in the community for over 32 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel G. Perez, Sr. and Sotera Perez.

Mr. Perez is survived by his loving wife, Carolina Perez; son, John Daniel Perez; daughter, Joan Owens and husband, John-David; grandson, Miles Owens; sisters, Leonides Penaflor and family, Jocelyn Balverde and family, Analelie Ganas and family, Carmencita Inclan and family, Jane Buenbrazo and family; brother, Raymond Perez and family; and numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
