Funeral services for Daniel Edward Amos, 47, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Monroe, with Pastor Paul McComack officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Amos passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a forklift operator for Berry Plastics for 21 years.
Mr. Amos was preceded in death by his father, Keith Amos; and brother, Darren Amos.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Semmes Amos; daughters, Danielle Amos, Abbey Amos, and Lauren Briley; grandchild, Dakota Price; mother, Mardie Amos; brothers, Doug Amos and wife Lacey, David Amos and wife Sonya, and Donald Amos; nephews, Korey, Kerry and wife Rebecca, Colt, and Hunter Amos; three nieces, Ashley Amos, and Emma and Ellen Semmes; great nephew, Coby Amos; brother-in-law, Bobby Semmes and wife Kathy; father and mother-in-law, Keith and Mona Semmes.
Pallbearers with be his three brothers, Doug Amos, David Amos, Donald Amos, Billy Pate, Jim Womack, and David Heyward. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Korey, Kerry, and Colt Amos, and Bobby Semmes.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Black Bayou Refuge.
