Funeral services for Daniel “DC” McIntyre, Jr., 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Brian Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.Mr. McIntyre died Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Arcadia, LA. He was a WWII Veteran and served his country in the U.S. Navy.Mr. McIntyre was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Sadie McIntyre; his wife of 61 years, Elvie Roberts McIntyre; and baby daughter, Letha McIntyre.Survivors include his sister, Lois McIntyre Williams; sons, Tom McIntyre and wife Brenda of Choudrant, LA, Daniel McIntyre of Arcadia, LA; daughter, Glenda M.
