Dale F. Johnson

Funeral Services for Mr. Dale Felton Johnson, 63, of Chatham, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Bro. Mike Green officiating. Interment will follow in Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, October 8, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Dale was born December 21, 1957, to Martha Rachel and Wayne “Booby” Johnson of Chatham, LA, and was received into Jesus’ arms on Friday, October 1, 2021. He loved the Lord and was a member of Sikes Baptist Church. He was an Accountant and graduated from Sikes High School and Louisiana Tech. Dale was a member of the Charles F. Buck Lodge and was a Past Master in Masonry, member of Dixie Chapter OES and was a Past Patron, and was also a member of the Monroe York Rite Bodies, and the Shreveport Scottish Rite Bodies.

He enjoyed local, state, and national history and traveling. He enjoyed talking to people and working at the elections, where he could see many members of the community that he otherwise didn’t get to see. Dale was a math tutor to various local youth, and he loved both gospel and country music.

Dale leaves behind his mother, Martha Rachel Wiggins Johnson and sister, Carol Ann Johnson, to whom he was tirelessly devoted; many beloved friends, cousins, aunts, and other family members including an extra special first cousin once removed, Tilda Holmgren.

Pallbearers will be Steve Tannehill, Dana Colding, Bart Davis, Keith Allen Parker, Steve Johnson, and Thomas Forshaw. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dan Morgan.
