Daisy McKenzie Young

Daisy McKenzie Young Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Born Dec. 8, 1915 in Crystal Springs, MS and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007. Mrs. Young resided in the Monroe/West Monroe area her entire life and worked as the head cashier for the Delta, Paramount, and Eastgate Cinema Theaters for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bridges “Bill” Young. She is survived by their three daughters, Lovie Jean Gray and husband William Gerry Hall and husband Fred, Daisy Bennett and husband H. B. She has seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 24 at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe, She was devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook, whose presence will be greatly missed especially during the holiday season. Pallbearers will be grandsons & great-grandsons.
