Daisy Lee Bennett

Funeral service for Daisy Lee Bennett, 73, of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, March 1, 2012, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Rev. David H. Oliver and Rev. Kenneth Pack officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop.
Mrs. Bennett was born on August 15, 1938 in Oak Ridge, LA, and went to be with her Lord and his Angels, whom she loved very much on February 26, 2012.  She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God of Bastrop and was a homemaker. Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Oliver Bennett; father, George Washington Chunn; mother, Jewel Lee Chunn; and brother, James Henry Chunn.
Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Kenly and husband Larry of Fairbanks, LA; three sons, Clude Campbell and wife Wendy; Jewel Lynn Bennett all of Bastrop, LA; and George Thomas Bennett and wife Kristine of West Monroe, LA; three sisters, Elois Breland and husband Bernerd of Bastrop, LA; Myrtis Hofford and husband Coy of Sheridan, AR; and Betty Turner of Oak Grove, LA; sister-in-law, Lorene Chunn of Bastrop, LA; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Bennett, Zack Kenly, Bubba Kenly, Jr., Adam Kenly, Bobby Fife, and Caleb Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Williamson and Eugene Streeter.
Visitation will be from 12noon until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
