Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Corey Dean Owens, 44, of Calhoun, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 21, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Billy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Corey was born on May 14,1977, and passed away on February 17, 2022. Corey loved spending time with his family, especially working on racecars with his 2 sons. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Alex & Jean Owens; maternal grandparents, Jim & Joyce Gipson; and niece, Haley Mulhearn.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Jessica Barkley Owens; sons, Tyler Owens and fiancé, Katie Kent and Will Owens; granddaughter, Mary Louise Owens; parents, Chery and Johnny Hancock; father, Dean Owens; father-in-law, Jory Barkley; mother-in-law, Kim Haley; sister-in-law, Joani Mulhearn and husband, Michael; grandfather-in-law, Clyde Barkley and wife, June; brother, Zach Owens; nephew, Carter Mulhearn; niece, Madi Kay Mulhearn; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Wheelis, John Mark Mills, Conner Davis, Nich Brown, Clay Smith, Van Richardson, David Walker, and Jason Lillo.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
