Connie Walker Ward

Visitation for Connie Walker Ward will be held from 12:00 PM (noon) to 2:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2019, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Patrick Church Cemetery in Bernice, LA, officiated by Micheal McIntosh.

Connie Walker Ward was born April 24, 1956, in Monroe, LA, and passed away at her home in Swartz on October 23, 2019. She retired from CenturyLink Benefits Department and was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

She is survived by the love of her life, Richard “Ricky” Ward; daughter by choice, Stephanie McCord and her significant other Candace Anderson; mother, Faye Walker Schumacher; mother-in-law, Betty Moore; sister, Linda Fulton and husband Richard; niece, Brandye Brixius and husband Paul; nephew, Barrett McIntosh; great-nieces, Phoenix, Locklan, and Blaze; and her rescue babies, Blossom, Wild Rose, and Ariel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal rescue group of your choice.
