Funeral Services for Mrs. Connie C. Feeback, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the St. Paschal’s Catholic Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Frank Coens officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paschal’s Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Connie passed away on July 31, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. She came to Monroe in 1939 and was employed by Walgreen’s before marrying John in 1941. They later owned and managed a small grocery store in downtown West Monroe from 1944 until 1953. Connie was a charter member of St. Paschal’s Church and was a lifelong member of the ladies auxiliary.
Connie is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Feeback; her parents, Frank Columbus, Sr. and Emelia Nobile Columbus; her sisters, Mary Wells and Pauline Hayden; and her brothers, Mike Columbus , Dan Columbus and Frank Columbus, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Bowling and Mack Abston; sons, Frank Feeback and wife Irma and Jake Feeback; grandchildren, Jeff Ferracci and wife Nina, Jessica Hughes and husband Scott, Brian Feeback and wife Jessica and Laura Gasca and husband Carlos; several great grandchildren; brother, Pete Columbus; two sisters, Virginia Hutson and husband Huey and Elizabeth Joseph and a host of cherished neighbors and friends.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Chris Columbus, David Hutson, Conrad Hayden, Frank Columbus III, Nick Joseph, Chris Columbus, Mark Hutson, Pete Hayden, Matt Hutson, Mark Columbus and Nick Joseph. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Ferracci and Brian Feeback.
A Rosary Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday with visitation to follow from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
The family would like to recognize Mary Joe Taylor, Dorothy Soles and Carla Rainwater for providing excellent care; Sue Self for visiting Connie every weekend with Holy Communion; special friend and neighbor Corine Weems, her home health nurse, Regina of Glenwood Hospice and all of her many dear friends for their love and support.
