Cleo DuBois Taylor

Funeral services for Cleo DuBois Taylor, 89, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2019, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ray Dupre officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Taylor was born April 24, 1930 and passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019. She retired from Bell South after 39 years of service. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Church of God and the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping with her sister and niece, and visiting with her family.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include her sister, Decie DuBois Patton; nieces, LeVeta (Pat) McMeans and Shelia Jernigan Dupre; nephew, Louis T. Brinson; and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Rhonda McRae, and Shella and Kenny Ramsey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
