Funeral services for Mr. Clay Jordan, 66, of Monroe, LA, will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Clay was born December 30, 1955 in Canyon, TX and passed away on May 19, 2022 in Monroe, LA. He married the love of his life, Linda Jordan, on October 9, 1976 in Levelland, TX. They are now reunited again in heaven. He had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that would put a smile on anyone’s face. He loved to scare people and would laugh so hard after doing so. He loved gardening and loved his chicken fried steak. What he loved more than anything was his family and he absolutely loved to help people and be of service. He was runner up on Survivor Thailand in 2002 and met many people through his journey of being “Clay from Survivor”. He traveled many places and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his wife Linda Jordan, parents, Max Jordan and Beth Jordan; and his brother Kent Jordan.
He is survived by his son, Andy Jordan and his wife Michelle; daughter, Shanda Jordan; grandchildren, Brooks, Barrett and Jameson Jordan; his special grand dog, Palmer; his siblings Mike Jordan and Jack Jordan; as well as members that became family with marriage and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rick Thompson, Joe Tubb, Bobby Urban, Charles Jackson, Colby Brown and Bill Dampier. Honorary pallbearers will be Brooks Jordan, Barrett Jordan and Jameson Jordan.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
