Services for Mr. Claud Allen Ezell, age 79 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro, with Craig McCain officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Ezell was a graduate of Winnsboro High School, Louisiana Tech University, Mississippi College with additional graduate work at Northeast Louisiana State University, now ULM. He was an educator and administrator for over 30 years, all in Franklin Parish. He was an avid hunter and golfer, retired school principal and farmer, always concerned about children’s education. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford A. and Minniebell Ezell. Mr. Ezell passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010.

Wife of 49 years, Bobbie Oakes Ezell of Winnsboro, LA.
4 Children: Dr. Jerry G. Ezell and wife Carol of Delhi, LA.
J. Garwin Ezell of West Monroe, LA.
Jennifer G. Ezell of Winnsboro, LA.
J. Gay Ezell of West Monroe, LA.
2 Grandchildren: Elaine and Callie Ezell of Delhi, LA.
Pallbearers are: Mike Williamson, Ricky Campbell Sr., Ricky Campbell, Jr., Jonathan Campbell, Chansey Campbell, Daren Herrington, and Todd Guimbellot.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Jim McClelland, Jimmy Guice, Jim Shell, and Buddy Tatum.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Building Fund Family Life Center.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
