Clark Collier Gulledge, Jr.Mulhearn Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA Funeral Services for Clark Collier Gulledge, Jr., 80, will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.Mr. Gulledge was born on November 29, 1934 and was called home on January 11, 2015. He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Gulledge worked until his retirement in the automotive service industry. He loved his Lord and his family. Mr. Gulledge loved the outdoors especially gardening and fishing.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Lillie Mae Gulledge; son, Douglas Gulledge; and sister, V’Ella Kennedy.Survivors include the love of his life and wife of 56 years, Shirley Gulledge; daughter, Janet Leake and husband Kenny; his grandchildren who were the joy in his life, Heath Gulledge, Megan Gulledge, Thorne Howard, Ethan Howard, Brennan Leake, Kelsey Leake and Cody Leake; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bobbye Arnold. Pallbearers will be Ethan Howard, Brennan Leake, Dennis Jimes, John McClendan, Charles McClendan and Brandon Vickers. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2015 at Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe and from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday.
