Clara Mae Tidwell

Funeral services for Clara Mae Tidwell, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Monroe, LA, with Dr. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

Mrs. Tidwell was born December 27, 1931, in Waldo, Ark. and passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at her residence. She left in peace from this earth for her journey to be with our father in heaven. She was a member of Bayou Oaks Baptist Church, Monroe, LA. She enjoyed her visits from family and friends, her grandchildren and seeing them grow up to have families of their own. She prayed that all her children would come to know Jesus as their savior, so she could see them again.

Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her parents, Alaska Jasper Lindsey, and Bessie Melverta Milligan of Union Parish; her husband, Vincy Tidwell; brothers, Noel J. Lindsey, and Allen Lindsey; sisters Betty Sue Lindsey and Linda Jeane Lindsey. Survivors include her sister, Lorene L. Dumas Parker of Union Parish, LA; brothers, Billy Lindsey of California, and (Roby) James Lindsey of Arkansas; uncle, Rev. James Lindsey of Arkansas; her children, Vincy W Tidwell Jr. (Danielle), Clifford W. Tidwell (Sharon), Kenneth R. Tidwell (Penny),

Connie T. Simpson (Ronnie Lee), and Rodney D. Tidwell (Glenda).

She was a grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great-great-grandmother.

She will be truly missed here on this earth, but we know we will see her again where Jesus has prepared a place for each of us. Amen!
