Funeral services for Christopher Wayne Cagle, 27, of Calhoun, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 23, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Pastor Christopher Miller officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Road, Keithville, LA.
Mr. Cagle was born to Joe and Natalie Cagle on January 6, 1990 in Hot Springs, AR. He had two brothers, his twin William Quincy and his older brother Denver Michael. The family moved to Shreveport, LA in 2001. Christopher had a servant’s heart. He always had a love of this country and wanted to serve from a very early age. Christopher graduated high school in 2009 and left for Marine Corps Recruit Training the same week. When he got out of the Corps he went to work on the railroad until the time of his death. He loved hunting, fishing, and shooting pool.
Christopher left behind a wife, Chasity Cagle; his parents, step children, Ryan Evans, Crissy McDaniel, Chelsea Donaldson; grandbaby, Emma Evans; brothers, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmother, best friend, Aaron Carlson, and many extended family and friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his granddad, Billy Joe Cagle; grandma, Eloise Cagle; and grandpa, Vernon Osborn.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
