Christopher Michael Gilley

Funeral services celebrating the life of Christopher Michael Gilley, age 42, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 6, 2019 at Apostolic Restoration Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Nathan Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 P.M., to 7:00 P.M, Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the church.

Chris was born on May 24, 1977 and passed from this life on November 30, 2019. He loved to hunt, travel, work on cars, and could fix or build anything electronic. He also loved spending time with family and friends, and his beloved dog, Bentley.

Chris is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Beuford and Faye Gilley of Calhoun, and his maternal grandfather, Shannon Clampit of West Monroe.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Michael “Mike” Gilley, Sr. and wife, Gail, of West Monroe, and mother, Sherry Fontenot and husband Joe, of Collinston, LA; brother, Michael Gilley, Jr. and wife, Terri, of Tyler, TX; sister, Jennifer McClain and husband, Jerald, of West Monroe, LA; stepsisters, Beth Lunsford, and Carolyn Tatum, of Shreveport, LA; niece and nephews, Nick Gilley, Jordan McClain, Morgan Gilley, Jonas McClain, and Jackson McClain; and special friend, Audrey Peterson.

Pallbearers will be Jordan McClain, Jonas McClain, Michael Gilley, Jr., Bobby Gilley, Matthew Gilley, and Brett Reppond.
