Funeral Services for Christopher Kevin Steward, 40, of Columbia, LA will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Jeff May officiating. Interment will follow in the Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery.

Kevin was born on August 14, 1981 in Monroe, LA and passed away on September 4, 2021 in West Monroe, LA. Kevin was a great Dad and loved his family so much. He was known to be rough around the edges but had a big heart and would do anything for his family and friends. His favorite hobby was riding four wheelers and you could always find him outside looking for arrow heads. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Steward, Sr.; son, Jacob Cooper Steward; and brother-in-law, Walt Elliott.

Kevin is survived by his children, CJ Steward and Presley Steward; mother, Tammy Steward; siblings, Angel Elliott, Bobby Steward, Jr. and wife Tamala; nephews, Travis Elliott and wife Randi, and Wyatt Elliott; niece, Madisyn Bagwell and husband Dylan; great-nephews, Garett and Bennett Bagwell; fiancé, Ashley Aikens; special dog, Hatchet; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chris Simpson, Steven Nivens, Chris Chappell, John Sutton, Matthew Couch, and Davey Williams. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jessica Franks Hair.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
