Graveside Funeral services for Christopher Dean Adams, Sr., 57, of Rayville, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA with Tim Hoychick officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, LA
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 P.M. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Rayville, LA 

Mr. Adams died May 21, 2023 at the Monroe Surgical Hospital after a brief illness.

Chris was retired from the United States Marine Corp. He held several professions, the Marine Corp, service as a police officer in El Canon, CA, deputy with Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s office, the medical field as a physician’s assistant in Cardiology, and girls softball coach at Riverfield Academy. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and also hunting.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Margaret Adams.

Survivors: Children, Christopher Dean Adams, Jr., Matthew Thomas Adams, and Hannah Grace Adams; Mother of his daughter, Jodi Adams; Father, Glynn Earl Adams; Brother, Keith Adams and his wife, Christine; nieces and nephew, Tristan Boyce, Mallory Smith, and Ethan Adams.
