Funeral services for Mrs. Christine “Chris” Dupree Roberts, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Mike Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Avalon Place, Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Murray Roberts.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia LaGrone  and her husband Lamar of Monroe, LA, Karen BeDoit and her husband Gene of Swartz, LA; son, Phil Roberts  and his wife Jean of Calhoun, LA; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Heath BeDoit, Jerry Spillers, Jason Spillers, Jason Roberts, Brian Hinson, Hunter Pharis.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Charles Morgan and the C hall staff at Avalon Place for the good care they gave Mrs. Roberts.
