Christina Lynn Finley

It is with great sadness that the family of Christina Lynn Finley announces her sudden passing on October 20, 2018, at the age of 56 (born January 17, 1962, in Belleville, IL; christened March 4, 1962).

Chris to those in the south, and Tina to those in the north, will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeffrey Finley; daughters, Krysta Engel and Taylor Trokee; granddaughter, Gracie Finley; and grandson, Zaine Hayes. Chris will also be missed dearly by many other relatives, cousins, and friends spread across multiple states. She was preceded in passing by her parents, William H Maxfield and Minnie Opal Maxfield, neé Missey; her brothers, William L Maxfield (Billy) and James (Eric) Maxfield; and daughter, Alyssa N Engel.

Chris touched many peoples’ lives and was quick to offer support in times of need. She was a pursuer of crafts and hobbies, lover of animals, enjoyed fishing, and did her best to pass these things on to her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service and gathering will be held in her memory on October 24, 2018, at 4:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Oak Ridge, LA.
