Funeral services for Christina Brinson Poulin, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Christina Brinson Poulin, 33, of Monroe, was born on September 24, 1977 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday July 29, 2011 after a sudden illness. Christina was employed by Guy Paper for the past ten years with colleagues that became valued friends.
Christina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary and Golman Day and Paternal grandfather, Willie Joe Brinson.
Those left behind to cherish Christina’s memory are her loving husband, Gerald Joseph Poulin of Monroe; two sons that she cherished and adored, Joseph and Jacob Poulin; her parents, Bobby and Patricia Brinson of Monroe; brother Darrell Brinson and wife Robyn and sons Colin and Cody of Limestone, TN; Aunt Kathy Dupre’ and children Allison and John; Mother-in-law Robin Andreola of St. Petersburg, FL; father and mother-in-law, Richard A. and Deborah Poulin of No. Scituate, Rhode Island; brother-in-law Raymond Poulin and children; sister-in-law, Gena Ross and her son; paternal grandmother, Ruby Brinson great grandmother-in-law; Mary De Simas of No. Scituate, Rhode Island; niece, Brittany Brinson and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Galyean, Chris Tyler, Jay Barfield, Eric Guy, Chuck Hunter, and Randy Boyer.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 700 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Gilley family, our extended McDonalds family, Guy Paper family and staff, Ouachita Parish Fire Department, and AMR for their unwavering care and support.
