Chester Perkins

A
memorial service to celebrate the life of Chester Perkins, 93, of West Monroe,
LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the chapel of
Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Eugene Brown and Rev. Wesley
Pittman officiating.  Interment will
follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.


 


Chester
was born on February 4, 1920 and passed away on November 25, 2013 in West
Monroe, LA.  Mr. Perkins was a member of
Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA and retired from Riverwood
International Paper Co. in West Monroe, LA after 38 years.  He loved his church family and his Sunday
School Class.  Mr. Perkins is now in
heaven with Jesus, his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and grandson who all
preceded him in death.


 


Survivors
include his wife, Vera Mae Perkins; son, Bo Perkins and wife, Sylvia; daughter,
Brenda Auttonberry and husband, WH “Dub”; sister, Ettie Milford; brother, Cleve
Perkins; four grandchildren, Michael and Richard Auttonberry, Shane Perkins,
and Melanie Jones; twelve great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren.


 


Pallbearers
will be his grandson, great grandsons and Ed Taunton.


 


Visitation
will be held from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 29, 2013 at
Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
