Cherry V. Pepper Perry

Funeral services for Cherry V. Pepper Perry, 87, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perry was born August 7, 1930, and passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. She was a resident of St. Joseph’s Nursing Home and a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. Mrs. Perry was a lifetime supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hardy Perry; son, Earl Douglas Perry; and daughter, Christy Lynn Strothers.

Survivors include her four children, Rowland Perry and wife Marion, Fern Laing and husband Tommy, Kent Perry and Jack Perry and wife Mary; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sister, June Herbert; brothers, Joe Pepper, John E. Pepper, and Ronnie Pepper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
