Services for Charles Willard Sommer III, 88, of Arlington, TX, will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be at the Mausoleum 1 hour prior to the service under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd, Monroe, LA.
Charles was born November 20, 1927 in Waco, TX and passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Arlington, TX.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Charles Sommer, and Kathleen Ora Lee Solberg Fussell Sommer.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Paula Brooks Sommer, formerly of Mangham; children, Tony Abbett Sommer of Fort Worth, TX, Charles Willard Sommer IV and wife Jenny, of Houston, TX, James Franklin Sommer and wife Kelley of Sugar Land, TX, and Brooks Abbett Sommer and wife Melissa of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Cristena Sommer Ballard and husband Hunter of League City, TX, Marsha Violet Sommer of Fort Worth, TX, Alexander, Audrey and Mary Sommer of Houston , TX, Mitchell and Andrew Sommer of Sugar Land, TX; great-grandchildren, Callie and Liam Ballard of League City, TX.
