The fish on Davis lake are much safer today. Their main adversary is now casting his line on a lake in Heaven. Charles Preston “Pete” Frith passed away of a sudden illness December 7th 2020 at 12:45 am. He was 82 years old.
He is preceded in death by his parents Willis Otis Frith, Sadie Grace Frith/Bradshaw (Lovelady) and his older brother Willis O. Frith. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Annie Ruth Frith (Howard). His son Charles Randale “Chuck” Frith and wife Nga Huynh-Frith, His Daughter Michelle Leigh Reeves and Husband Corby Todd Reeves, Four Granddaughters; McKayla Ann Reeves 19, Caroline Grace Reeves15, Paige Oanh “Pippa” Frith 4 and Lois Uyen “Lolo” Frith 1, and one grandson Owen Thomas Reeves 14, two older sisters Lois Elaine Temple and Edna Grace Watts.
He was a 1956 graduate of Rayville High School, and retired Maintenance Supervisor for Monroe Housing Authority. Pete was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, husband, father, and grandfather. Hard work was a common thing to him, and he was known to many as a fixer of things. He was always willing to spend his free time helping family and friends with various repairs and projects.
Cremation will be provided by Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville. Memorial services will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
