Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Hart, 90, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Dr. Craig West officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Hart was born December 27, 1931 and passed away on April 5, 2022. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hart was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1809. Mr. Hart was also a member of Local Union 659/141. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by parents, Loyd and Mable Hart; daughter, Becky Henson; and brother, Billy Ralph Hart.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lila Camp Hart; son, Bill Hart and wife Esper; sister, Soundra “Sandy” Hopper and husband Johnny; son-in-law, John Henson; granddaughter, Jessica Henson, granddaughter, Jade Henson, granddaughter, Danilyn Blackburn and husband Brad, granddaughter, Laura Pavlov and husband Tony, granddaughter, Lila Diane Abbenante and husband Eric; six great-grandsons, Geovanni, Brandon, Leo, Val, Tristin, and Charlie; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Pallbearers will be John Hopper, Eric Abbenante, Jay Hopper, Todd Vinson, John Henson, and Matthew Henson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug “Boy” Brown, Glen Cockrell, and Kevin Hopper.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to Swartz First Baptist Church.
