Charles Herndon Wilkins

Memorial services for Charles Herndon Wilkins, 79, of Monroe, LA, will be held Monday, July 26th at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 165 North, Monroe. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. Herndon was born on July 26, 1941 and passed away on July 21, 2021.
Herndon was a retired oil and gas landman who, above everything, was an Ole Miss graduate and hard-core fan. He was a retired member of the Army National Guard and an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf every chance that he had. He also loved his children and grandchildren and being their “Big H”.
Herndon was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Claudia Hester Wilkins and survived by his wife Pam, children Chuck Wilkins and wife Michelle, Guy Wilkins and wife Leigh Ann, Rene Cunningham and husband Heath, Michael Wilkins, Aimee West and husband Jonathan, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, and a sister, Claudia Duncan.
