Private family funeral services for Charles G. Salsbury, 77, of Eros, LA, will be held on 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Frantom Chapel Church, in Eros, LA, with Rev. Johnny Austin officiating. Interment will follow in Chatham Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Salsbury was born in Eros, LA, on January 9, 1943, and passed away on March 17, 2020, in West Monroe. After high school Mr. Salsbury served four years in the US Army his entire career was being a welder/boilermaker. In the late 1980s and early 90s, he owned and operated Chatham Hardware in Chatham, LA.
Mr. Salsbury was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Ila Salsbury; daughter, Regina Salsbury Datlovsky and siblings, Doyle Salsbury, Lela Mae Sevier, Marvin Salsbury, Norris Salsbury, Edward Salsbury, Lonnie Ray Salsbury, and Thomas Salsbury.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Salsbury Lewis and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Alaina Segovia and husband Jonathan and Gage Datlovsky; great grandchildren, Christopher Segovia and Wyatt Segovia; sister, Nita Moreau and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Private family visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at Frantom Chapel Church.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests all memorials may be made to Frantom Chapel Fellowship Hall Building Fund at P.O. Box 105 Eros, LA. 71238.
